I too love thunderstorms and living in the Pacific NW don't get to experience them as much as I'd like, as long as they're not too violent. Snakes? That's another matter! Spiders too. :)

So glad has our lives in His hands and that His plan for us is thought out already.

Love Corrie ten Boom's writing!

Blessings,
SherreySherrey Meyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715466245851050537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7134046314047958889.post-40770284850156562702012-04-15T15:07:20.877-07:002012-04-15T15:07:20.877-07:00Theresa, so glad you stopped by and found comfort ...Theresa, so glad you stopped by and found comfort in His words through me.

Blessings!Sherrey Meyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715466245851050537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7134046314047958889.post-77176613380948726522012-04-14T18:37:02.869-07:002012-04-14T18:37:02.869-07:00thank you for sharing thos beautiful post and this...thank you for sharing thos beautiful post and this beautiful quote. i hope that i am teaching this to my children! a blessed Easter season to you! peggy aplSEEDSpeggy aplSEEDShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10768955822621326694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7134046314047958889.post-43065298992102223642012-04-13T18:57:17.751-07:002012-04-13T18:57:17.751-07:00My mother was afraid of many things also. Thunders...My mother was afraid of many things also. Thunderstorms, snakes, water, heights. For many years, I was also afraid--now I love thunderstorms (as long as they aren't too violant). Snakes I have a respectful fear and I love the water and mountains. Spiders are another matter. :)

Anyway, the Bible says many times that we are not to fear. Our lives are in God's hands and yes, He has a plan for us and for our future.

Blessings,
Joan

PS - Love the quote by Corrie ten Boom.Joan Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16430939897829160498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7134046314047958889.post-59360070361887997762012-04-12T22:12:06.491-07:002012-04-12T22:12:06.491-07:00Stacy, always so nice when you come by for a visit...Stacy, always so nice when you come by for a visit! Matters of the heart strangely coincide for some folks, and it seems so for thee and me! Perhaps that's why your posts always touch off a trace of tears or a quickening of the heart. :)

Yes, it's wonderful that He loves in spite of all that He knows about us and plans so well for us in spite of ourselves.Sherrey Meyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715466245851050537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7134046314047958889.post-91756938564146226062012-04-12T20:33:17.317-07:002012-04-12T20:33:17.317-07:00Thank you for these comforting words.
