As I mentioned in an earlier post today, I'm undergoing surgery tomorrow and expect to not be up to blogging for a few days. However, at this season of the year, I wanted to leave a short post to say where I am and to wish you the very best of the Christmas season. Remember to take time to anticipate and wait patiently for the gift of God's immense love.
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philemon 1:3 (NIV)
Praying for a quick recovery for you!
ReplyDeletemay the nearness of God be your good - all through the surgery, and home again! Emmanuel...God with you!

I hope your recovery is quick and provides quiet time to reflect and be still. Have a lovely Christmas celebrating our sweet gift of Love!
ReplyDeleteThanks to each of you for your prayers and encouragement. Healing is progressing but will be slow, and I knew that going in to this surgery. It has been a marvelous time to reflect on God's goodness and to just wait patiently for Christmas to arrive! We have a new bundle to celebrate in our family this year, and my hope is to be able to be with family over the weekend and to be in worship on Christmas Day. Again, I am blessed by your prayers.
