Heart Full of Thanks -- Counting One Thousand Gifts (386-399)

Continuing to count One Thousand Gifts with Ann Voskamp at A Holy Experience, an exceptional way of thanking God through every single moment of life!

386.  Safe travel these last weeks.
387.  Incredible week of weather -- from warm spring days to snow and hail to rain and cold, but still in God's hands.
388.  Trips down memory lane as we shuffle through boxes of treasures in the attic.
389.  Old photographs.
390.  Sharing laughter and tears together for many reasons.
391.  Our daily devotion and prayer time together as husband and wife.
392.  Isaiah 40:31.
393.  Praying friends and praying for friends.
394.  Amazing worship service on Sunday.
395.  The beginning of Jesus' journey to the cross over the next two weeks.
396.  A friend's reunion with a child given up for adoption 16 years ago.
397.  Online friends I've never met face-to-face who are so faithful.
398.  Sparrows perching outside the window.
399.  Squirrels chattering about who knows what!

Hope you'll stop by and count with us over at Ann's site, A Holy Experience.  It's an incredible experience.

  1. It's lovely to meet you, Sherrey! Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and leave a comment! Yes, I've wanted to learn to cut hair since middle school. One of these days, I'll actually walk into a beauty school and see about classes! My goal is to get my license and once the kids are grown, that will become my day job. Fortunately, I've taught myself to cut my husband's hair and will be attempting to cut my youngest daughter's curly hair...if she'll sit long enough for me to try :) I loved #391 on your list. Please let me know what this looks like - it should be something my husband and I begin together. Blessings!

  3. Barbie, thanks for coming by -- don't you just love counting all the amazing gifts God blesses us with? #396 is a favorite of mine this week. Such a random seeking on the part of the son. My friend was stunned but also blessed that he sought her out. I can't wait to hear how their time together went. I'm praying it was a time full of grace, love and hope.

  4. Isn't it a pretty quote? I printed it out on Saturday when I saw it on Ann's blog and put it on the refrigerator. I also appreciate the sparrows chirping and squirrels chattering (or whatever it is they do) and many of your other blessings listed. Have a wonderful day, sister!

  5. Rebecca, it's a wonderful quote! I too printed out on Saturday when I saw it on Ann's blog and right to the refrigerator it went. I see it every time I pass through the kitchen. A good reminder. So glad you dropped by, my sister. Come again!
