I don't read that passage without hearing the song I learned based on the same passage. It's a truth that needs singing!

I just love songs based on Scripture verses because indeed they are truths that need to be sung. So glad we found each other today!

Hi! And I'm glad you came by here today. I'm frequently amazed at how folks don't realize where their help comes from, and I want that truth and belief so badly for them. Hoping you have a week full of blessings!
DeleteBeatiful picture and reminds me with the verse that we have to raise our heads to look up.
ReplyDeleteSharon, I'm glad you came by today. I like your words, "we have to raise our heads to look up." Powerful!
DeleteI love this verse. Sometimes when I'm in the garden I stand up and inhale deeply. The instinct to offer praise is automatic, it seems. This verse is on my mind at those times.
ReplyDeleteLinda, so glad I used a verse that touches your soul in the garden!
DeleteHe has shown Himself strong to me over the last week. My help is only found in Him. He rescues me time and time again.
ReplyDeleteBarbie, sounds like you've had a week. I'm so glad you lean on Him for your help. It's amazing how often He rescues us!

DeleteWell, you just touched my heart. I've driven through that general area so many times over the past years. Any anything heading towards the Columbia just draws me faster and faster.
ReplyDeleteAND being a mountain addicted person, the Word and the photo grabbed my heart.
I like that -- "mountain addicted." :) Makes this "mountain addicted" person happy you dropped by. And I'm glad you enjoyed the verse. Have a great week!
DeleteLove this text! Coming from the West Highlands of Scotland (nr Glencoe and Ft William), this text is one which comes to mind often passing through the glens.
ReplyDeleteWendy, thanks for stopping by! Isn't this a beautiful verse? And here in Oregon I'm often reminded of it as well.
